Why don’t I do what he says?
Jesus said “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” It’s a really good question and I am becoming increasingly curious about the answer.

Focus
In the same way that Jesus sent his disciples out to the towns and villages that he was going to visit, so we want God to show us where he is going to move so that we can go out before him, praying and building relationships in the places he is going to be.

Sharing stories from God’s word
As we read and learn stories from God’s word, first we pray for him to impact our own lives and then we take this story and our own testimony out with us, ready to share them with whoever God leads us to.

Prayer is the work
I am seeking to be obedient to God’s word, to go out among the lost and take every opportunity to share his word with the people I meet. It is good to be reminded that, although these are all good things, without prayer they are just my own work and there is a limit to how much one little person can do.
