God doesn’t need us to get bigger in order to see lives transformed in this city. He only asks that we keep bringing our little selves before him, with our eyes and ears open to do what he is asking us to do.

Learning new ways
There is a level of brokenness that we are all led to enter. It is the level of brokenness where we find the sweetness of Christ’s mercy and the riches of his grace. As we are broken, so we surrender all that we have held dear and as we surrender we learn to abide in God, to live for him and him alone.

Praying for our local community
Together with other christians here, we have been prayer walking the streets of our city. We have been asking God to speak and lead our prayers, and offering prayer to the people we encounter. This week, I sensed God speaking to me about a new step that we can take as we seek to offer his love and light to the people around us.
